Project Analyst

AMPLY is seeking a Project Analyst to support the tracking of key project data points and measuring against performance goals. The Project Analyst will support project managers in translating project metrics into key performance indicators (KPIs) for reporting to AMPLY leadership and will consistently maintain and improve the means of doing so. The Project Analyst will over time become an expert in AMPLY’s business and operations process, supporting overall process improvements.
The ideal candidate will have superior data and analytical skills and demonstrated experience tracking and reporting KPIs, ideally within a related energy project field. A successful candidate will have advanced MS Excel skills, Salesforce administration or platform development experience, and the ability to interface with multiple cross-functional departments.
The role requires an understanding of project management with a focus on providing support to the project implementation teams in order to ensure installations stay on time, within budget, and within scope.
We will be excited to have a passionate team member who will support the development of AMPLY’s performance tracking, leading to the identification of trends and opportunities for process improvements, while supporting AMPLY’s business model of delivering the highest quality and innovative EV fleet charging solutions to our customers.

Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret key project schedules and financial data points to be tracked against internal and contractual milestones and baselines.
- Administer AMPLY’s Sitetracker platform – develop KPI trackers and dashboards, implement process improvements, and enhance functionality as required by new business needs.
- Maintain databases of active project portfolio’s financial metrics and revenue milestones.
- Produce standardized reports highlighting project status and performance indicators.
- Standardize processes and procedures to enhance project operations – intake and project handover, revenue recognition documentation, customer acceptances, and closeout.
- Support establishing project baseline budget and schedule and contractual requirements at project management team kickoff.
- Identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with related multidisciplinary focus (Business, Communications, Finance, Statistics, Energy).
- 3+ years of experience in an analytical or Project Management Office (PMO) role within a related energy or construction field.
- Experience creating and maintaining tools to track program- and project-level cost and schedule performance metrics.
- Demonstrated advanced MS Excel skills, training, or certifications.
- Salesforce platform use or administration experience; Sitetracker experience preferred.
- Superior organizational skills, ability to regularly maintain multiple well-organized datasets.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and follow-through skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
- Ability to present technical and analytical information clearly and concisely.

AMPLY is redefining the EV charging market for private and public fleets, including autonomous driving fleets, transit bus agencies, municipal, and private fleets. We are building the next level of charging as a service, taking complete ownership and control of the charging infrastructure, the scheduling of the vehicles, the cloud platform, and the utility meter – in order to provide the highest availability and resilience in the market. In this way, we will accelerate the adoption of electric-powered fleets by optimizing the delivery of power and making refueling seamless and efficient. In a high-powered application like vehicle fast charging, the difference between controlled, optimally balanced vs unrestrained EV charging could be 3x in cost from your local utility. Even more importantly, EV fleets, in particular when part of critical and close to real-time business processes (for example in autonomous fleets) need to be scheduled for charging in specific time intervals. By taking control of the utility meter, optimizing EV charge rate and vehicle process flow, AMPLY provides the lowest cost of electric fueling possible in a given depot location or in-route stops. Our approach is to offer charging as a service, which is unique in the industry. We offer our customers a per mile driven usage rate. AMPLY provides the bulk of the upfront capital expenditures associated with the charging platform.
