Senior PMO Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY
AMPLY is seeking a talented Senior PMO Administrator to successfully organize and manage the development and deployment of EV fleet charging projects. The Senior PMO Administrator will work in tandem with the Director of Project Development and Director of Construction to oversee and provide departmental strategy for a diverse portfolio of EV charging depot projects across the entire project lifecycle (design, permitting, construction, commissioning), interfacing with all relevant project stakeholders (customers, contractors, permitting authorities, equipment vendors, and utilities).
A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in standardizing project management processes and developing proper documentation and tracking frameworks. In collaboration with the department heads, this position is responsible for oversight and management of all assigned project staff and subcontractors, and ensuring alignment in processes and protocols. This position will also manage quality improvement processes to ensure deliverables are met, the impact is documented, and will utilize project management software to communicate with leadership about program status and progress.
*This is a full-time paid position based at our HQ office in Mountain View, CA (hybrid office culture, local applicants only)
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with Director of Project Development and Director of Construction to develop and formulate a strategic direction for department goals
- Provides leadership and direction for all assigned project staff along with monitoring performance and making recommendations for improvement as applicable
- Oversees all assigned subcontractors and vendors to include monitoring performance in alignment with the contract scope of work and required deliverables
- Advises senior leadership on project impacts and proposes changes necessary to respond to issues
- Oversight of all projects to ensure activities are met and impact is documented
- Manage quality improvement processes to ensure deliverables are met and leadership is up to date on progress in all projects
- Collaborate with Director of Project Development to ensure alignment in processes and protocols
- Utilize project management software to communicate about program status and progress
Qualifications
- Experience in assessing, establishing, and standardizing project management processes and tools
- Strategic thinking skills in tracking, developing, and translating proper project documentation
- Strong critical thinking skills to understand priority details for reporting and project scope tracking frameworks
- Strong project development, management, prioritization, and planning skills, with demonstrated success in producing high-quality deliverables on time and within budget
- Advanced communication and dissemination skills that promote programming including document and resource development
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel; strong experience with Microsoft Project and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with a team
- Skills and knowledge of performance management software and other efficiency platforms such as Salesforce, Sitetracker and/or Asana
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Highly adaptable with creative problem solving abilities
- Positive attitude and excitement to build rules from the ground up
- Passion for transportation electrification, sustainability, and the environment

About AMPLY Power
AMPLY is redefining the EV charging market for private and public fleets, including autonomous driving fleets, transit bus agencies, municipal, and private fleets. We are building the next level of charging as a service, taking complete ownership and control of the charging infrastructure, the scheduling of the vehicles, the cloud platform, and the utility meter – in order to provide the highest availability and resilience in the market. In this way, we will accelerate the adoption of electric-powered fleets by optimizing the delivery of power and making refueling seamless and efficient. In a high-powered application like vehicle fast charging, the difference between controlled, optimally balanced vs unrestrained EV charging could be 3x in cost from your local utility. Even more importantly, EV fleets, in particular when part of critical and close to real-time business processes (for example in autonomous fleets) need to be scheduled for charging in specific time intervals. By taking control of the utility meter, optimizing EV charge rate and vehicle process flow, AMPLY provides the lowest cost of electric fueling possible in a given depot location or in-route stops. Our approach is to offer charging as a service, which is unique in the industry. We offer our customers a per mile driven usage rate. AMPLY provides the bulk of the upfront capital expenditures associated with the charging platform.
